The purpose of this project was to create three functioning instruments with 7 notes between the 4 members in our group. To accomplish this we studied about multiple concepts. One of the main concepts was wavelength. This changes the frequency, witch alters what our brain perceives as notes. (more terms below). We created a guitar, a pan flute, and chimes. These all worked decently well, not loud enough but got all of our notes correct.

Reflection:
Overall this project was fun. I feel like we learned a lot of useful concepts, but he actual physical building was not as interesting because I have not been interested in music for a while. We had some very good peaks. One of which was our pan flute. We got this up and running with no time at all functioning well. Another peak was our chimes as we completed these easily as well. We had pits that came along as well too. Our biggest pit was the guitar. It turned out okay, but we struggled with tightening strings. We also struggled with adding more than one string onto our guitar. Our second pit was finding our measurements. We jumped ahead to fast and forgot to record the measurements for some of our instruments. This made it hard to complete our presentation. Even though we managed. One thing I personally did bad was in focus. I would commonly get off task and it caused our group to lose valuable time and resources. I will work on these in future projects.

Concepts:
- Sound Vibrations - A type of wave that propagates as a typically audible wave of pressure and displacement, through a medium such as air, water, or solid
- Chime - a bell or a metal bar or tube, typically one of a set tuned to produce a melodious series of ringing sounds when struck.
- Pan Flute - an old musical instrument that has five or more pipes of gradually increasing length.
- Woodwind - wind instruments other than brass instruments forming a section of an orchestra, including flutes, oboes, clarinets, and bassoons.
- Guitar - a stringed musical instrument with a fretted fingerboard, typically incurved sides, and six or twelve strings, played by plucking or strumming with the fingers.
- Strings - musical instruments that produce sound from vibrating strings. In most string instruments, the vibrations are transmitted to the body of the instrument, which also vibrates, along with the air inside it.
